making wooden oars for a sailing dinghy 3

That 'dur' feeling when you discover the Japanese saw blade was angled slightly as you sawed through wood and removed more on one side than the other so that now you have to glue cut pieces back on....oh I wish I had a BIG band saw............"BIG sigh"...........................

My father was a skilled engineer........genetically where did that skill set go?

  1. Loads of oars on eBay.. :o)) I know, I know...

Do you have a local woodworking shop where you could get them to do the band saw bits so that you can then finish by hand???

No local woodwork shop here but I am making progress - they sure won't be gleaming perfect finish or matching that's for sure - :)
