Thanks David. Yup the line secures them during sailing because I keep leaning on them by accident, or worse sitting on the coaming. Cut a long story short, after the third time of losing one overboard as it jumped out of the rollick, I decided to tie them on. Not ideal but it works. At least my MOB drills became perfected! Steve

Great Video Steve. I have my oars on my Scamp attached like yours I notice a line near the rowlocks is this used to secure them from going overboard
